Is there anything more spectacular than a sunset at Dexter Southfield? As the Class of 2020 has reminded us during many Assembly talks, it is important to take pause and be grateful and thankful for the strength of this community.

These smiling faces remind us how thankful we are for the Dexter Southfield community during these unprecedented times. We sincerely appreciate the amazing efforts that our students, parents, faculty, and staff have dedicated to our first week of remote learning.

What is your Dexter Southfield “why”? What began as a project to welcome newly admitted students has quickly transitioned into a powerful reminder of the importance of the Dexter Southfield community during these uncertain times. Let us know what you used and if it worked by commenting below, or share a photo or video and tag us! We can’t wait to see your results!

During this time away from campus, we are calling on Dexter Southfield students, parents, and alumni to share their favorite parts of our campus and our community. Yesterday we polled our Instagram followers for their favorite Dexter Southfield tradition. While Field Day, Prize Day, and Dexter Southfield Day were among the most popular traditions, there was one clear favorite from yesterday's Question of the Day - our public speaking program! Leave a comment below with your (or your child's) favorite public speaking topic from the past, and be sure to follow us on Instagram for tomorrow's Question of the Day! https://www.instagram.com/dextersouthfield
