After School Programs for Pre-K to Class 8 Students

We provide a high quality After School program to our Lower and Middle School students that supplement our curriculum and/or enriches our students.

Pre-K - Class 5

The After School option for students enrolled in Pre-K to Class 5 is available Monday through Friday when school is open.

Important Details

• Open Monday through Friday, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. 
• Based in the Hewitt Dining Room.
• Sign up by the day or for the whole week.
• Fee: $12.50 per hour, which will be charged to your school account.
• Staff to student ratio: One staff member for every 10-12 students.

Please note: There will be no bus transportation for after school attendees. All after school students should be picked up at the Clay Center. 

Classes 6-8

Beginning on Monday, September 19, students in the Middle School are invited to attend “Homework Club” on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

This structured study period will take place in the Clay Center Dining Room. Supervised by Middle School faculty, the homework club will provide students a setting designed to meet the learning needs of Middle School-aged students as they complete their homework assignments.

This extracurricular opportunity is voluntary, and students may choose to attend as many or as few sessions as desired.  

To register, please fill out a transportation note signed by a parent on the morning of his or her attendance. The signed note should by handed in to his or her homeroom teacher by 8:15 a.m.

Daily Schedule

• 3:30 – 3:45 p.m. – Snack/Check-in.
• 3:45 – 4:30 p.m. – Homework/Reading/Group Activity.
• 4:30 – 5:15 p.m. – Games & Activities. 
• 5:15 – 5:30 p.m. – Pick-up at the Clay Center.

After School Science Clubs for Classes 4, 5, 6, 7+

The School is pleased to offer a variety of after school science programs. These are extracurricular, hands-on, science clubs designed to encourage inquiry and learning in a fun, positive, educational environment. Parents wishing to volunteer need only enthusiasm and interest.
