Lunch & Snacks

Information on this page is up-to-date in July 2020.
Please view our 2020 policies.

Registration for our 2020 season has officially closed.
The camper application and wait lists are now offline.
Thank you for making this a memorable summer!

We will offer tasty, child-friendly boxed lunches in the summer of 2020. The menu is offered on a rotating basis in our odd and even weeks of the season. Though campers are welcome to bring their own nut-free lunches, we ask that you review our policy listed below before doing so. Please note that gluten-free and dairy-free options are offered daily along with yogurt, fruit, carrots, and celery.
Lunch menus and snacks
  • See our 2020 menus here.
  • Snacks are provided every morning and may be offered to your child in the afternoons.
  • Past snack offerings include fresh fruit, Wheat Thins, Veggie Straws, SmartFood, Goldfish, amd more.
Food from home

Our staff recognizes that some children may have allergy restrictions or other concerns that would make them unable to eat the offerings that we have on campus. In those cases, you are welcome to send a packed lunch so long as you:

  • Contact your child's camp director to confirm this.
  • Carefully label your child's lunchbox so we can ensure it will make its way home.
  • List any allergies on your child's online health history form in the forms dashboard of your Camp InTouch account.
It is important to note that Dexter Southfield is a nut-safe campus, so no peanut butter or nuts of any kind are allowed.
Touch of Sage App
To stay up-to-date with allergens, explore the menu, and even mark your camper's favorite items, we suggest that you download the Touch of Sage app. Supported by both Android and iOS systems, this is a great way to give feedback on our dining services.
