The Dexter Southfield Fund

The Dexter Southfield Fund is a vital annual effort that contributes close to 8% of the School’s operating budget, supporting educational curriculum, financial aid, faculty professional development and compensation, athletics, the arts, facilities, and the student experience. Broad community participation is very important to the School. We are proud that in 2017-2018, 89% of current parents, 92% of faculty and staff, and 11% of alumni made a gift to the Dexter Southfield Fund.

This year we are focused on increasing these numbers even more as we move towards our 2018-2019 goal of $2.475 million. Dexter Southfield Fund gifts range in amounts from $5 to over $100,000, and gifts of $2,500 and above receive leadership recognition in School publications. The 2018-2019 Dexter Southfield Fund will end on June 30, 2019. All gifts are tax-deductible. If you would like more information or have questions about the Dexter Southfield Fund, please be in touch with Liz Ballard, director of the Dexter Southfield Fund, at 617-751-3556, or with Ashley Amos, fund and relations associate, at 617-751-3697. Thank you for your support of Dexter Southfield which allows the School to fulfill its motto, “Our Best Today, Better Tomorrow.”

Testimonials

"Volunteering for and supporting the Dexter Southfield Fund is important to me because it is an integral part of the school’s operating budget and impacts every student every day. The Fund’s strong current family participation rate is a testament to both the great momentum the School is experiencing today and the strong sense of community that has been built here among all of our families."
