Basketball Camp (Ages 4–13)

Hit the courts with Dexter Southfield's Varsity Basketball Coaches Tammy Millsaps and Matt Droney and iHoop Director Lex Mongo!
Campers are invited to join us in the Fieldhouse for a fun but competitive environment that will work to promote self-confidence, teamwork, and skill building for all skill levels. Led by the School's varsity coaches and staffed by current and former top-ranked Dexter Southfield girls and boys basketball players, campers will build skills during high-energy small-sided games and scrimmages.
The focus of daily sessions will shift between fun instruction and opportunities to test new skills. On-court time will feature a rotation between group and individual sessions focusing on developing passing, ball handling, shooting, and court awareness. Players will look forward to scrimmages, small-sided play, and shooting competitions as a part of their daily schedule.
Grouping
Campers with beginner to advanced knowledge of basketball are encouraged to get out on the courts with our staff this summer! Groups will be formed with both age and (after a skills check on Monday mornings) skill level in mind to ensure a positive learning environment for every player.
